[Product] is an innovative tactical communication system developed by [Proposer] that integrates real-time physiological monitoring, GPS-denied tracking, and secure data transmission into TAK, MANET, and Link-16 networks, enhancing warfighter coordination and survivability in contested environments through resilient, infrastructure-independent information sharing that addresses the Strategic Capability of Resilient Information Sharing and the Operational Imperative of Readiness to Deploy and Fight. The system demonstrates strong commercialization potential through its civilian variant, WearTAK-Civ, which is actively deployed in # fire departments with over # licenses, being piloted with [current users]. This RDT&E-driven effort addresses critical Special Tactics operational needs by enabling decentralized peer-to-peer communication that eliminates reliance on fixed infrastructure, mitigates electronic warfare threats and jamming, ensures continuous Position Location Information (PLI) and physiological data transmission in GPS-denied and communication-degraded environments, and expands TAK data-sharing across joint force assets through Link-16 integration, with USAF Special Tactics, AFSOC, and USSOCOM expressing interest in further R&D and Phase III transition contingent on successful Phase II validation as outlined in the DAF Customer Memorandum.
